The Social Theory program offers a legacy Major in Social Theory which can be undertaken as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree. Also, if you wish, you can take just one or two Social Theory subjects to complement other areas of study within a Bachelor of Arts degree, or other degrees.

 

Requirements for a Major in Social Theory

A major in social theory consists of eight 12.5-point subjects, totalling 100 points. It comprises: two first-year subjects in any area of study (25 points); and six second/third-year subjects in social theory (totalling 75 points), which must include three of the following four core subjects, and three subjects from the list of elective subjects below.
